Japanese Erotic Night

Four films exploring various facets of eroticism in Japanese cinema. This is not merely a succession of explicit erotic films; here, eroticism intersects with film noir, fantasy, drama, ero-guro, and historical cinema. These are works that are sometimes unsettling, often daring, and—above all—very rarely screened on the big screen.

The evening will open with a shibari performance-demonstration by Atelier Mae, serving as a visual and cultural gateway to the evening’s themes.
